Baby's Moving!

Ok, so I'm still not feeling kicks or pushes, but last night I think I felt the baby move for the first time! Eric and I went to the Lyric Opera with our friend Sondra to see Turandot. After walking up about 8 flights of stairs (figured I might as well get all the exercise I can right now) I could have sworn that I felt the baby move up and down inside. Eric said that it was probably from the momentum of going up all the steps at a consistent pace and then all of a sudden stopping but the whole placenta sack kept moving. Either way, it was a cool sensation. It was like this semi-heavy "thing" moving up and then down inside. I haven't felt anything more since then other than the usual "flurries" or "butterflies" but I'm sure I'll start feeling more sensations soon enough.

Eric and I go for the 20 week appointment tomorrow. This will be the 20 week ultrasound and then my usual monthly appointment afterwards with the Doctor. If we get a good picture I will post it with my update on the appointment and hopefully an updated picture of my growing stomach (we're a week late on the monthly picture).
